Thanks for the help in advance.
I am reloading for my Remy 700 5r in 308. Currently the load that I have worked up that my rifle really likes is as follows:
FGMM Brass 1X
41.1gr of IMR 4895
165 Sierra BTHP
CCI Large Rifle Magnums
@ 2.800
That being said, the magnum primers were what we had, so we went conservative, and I just got my CCI Large Rifles in so those will be loaded now instead of the magnums.
To date everything I has reloaded have been FGMM 1x that were initially shot out of my Remy and are FL resize. I have a ton of 308 from Hornady, Winchester, and Remington that I shot out of my M1A and came across some marked MKE, I am pretty sure this is 7.62 x 51. Do I need to treat this brass like military and load more conservatively? Also does it make a difference that this brass was initially fired from another gun?
