New guy, trying to hit my first 1000 yard shot.

Hey guys, Just joined the scout forum a few weeks ago and bought a Viper PST then he told me this site came back up!

I am in the process of building my 6.5G for a 1000+ yards and have a 556 as well. I bought a Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP so hopefully that will help me reach out to that range..

Other guns in photos are a MAGPUL Century AK, Super Blackhawk, Glock 43 and Glock 21 Gen 4.

I'll have to assume you have a 100 yard zero confirmed.

First you need to get your DOPE (data on previous engagements) then you need to walk out the target and verify your DOPE. You might be able to get some DOPE to get started here: http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmtraj-5.1.cgi
