Yep, I'm a new guy here. From WI and hoping to learn some shooting information here and have a good time.

Welcome. You will learn a lot here. Will probably end up watching some YouTube videos for too long as well.
If you are really new I would recommend signing up for a Precision Rifle 1&2 course from one of the many schools around the country. Nothing better then starting off with a solid foundation.
Have you picked out your stick and scope yet?

Thanks fellas. I watched a few of the youtube.com videos, but none of the instructional ones. I should also mention the gun n glass combo I have is a DPMS .308L with a Nikon Monarch 3-12x42 scope. Now that winter is almost gone, I can finally get some rounds down the new gun. Waiting on my scope lapping kit for my scope rings on my guns for the final assembly. I'm more so looking to be a better shooter before I do the long range shooting, but should be a fun challenge. Should make me a better hunter too.
