Long time hand gunner (over 40 years) and concealed carry aficionado and I just got addicted to shooting at long range. Bought an AR-15 as a SHTF gun and while zeroing the red dot started punching paper at longer and longer ranges trying to find the limit. Ended up with a 3X magnifier and banging stuff out to 600 yards and then discovered I was addicted to precision shooting after 200 rounds.
Shot some of my brothers guns and shot some gins of his (big money buddies!) guns and shot with a friend of my FIL who has a lot of nice long range stuff including a Barrett in .338 and a 1 mile range set up on his Farm.
Decided I'm gonna get started in precision shooting at 62 YO - Just bought a Savage 10 FCP-SR in 6.5 Creedmoor and have been shooting it with a borrowed scope and started tricking it. Anyway...
I'm here and have learned a lot just reading. I'll try and be a quiet newbie not wanting to be "That Guy" but I have a lot of questions and passion about send stuff a long, long way starting with a big bang. I just wanna shoot.
