New H&K 416, what ammo to buy?

Was in gun shop today picking up my rifle and he had a lightly used HK 416 AR pistol at a great price, so I snagged it.

now to buy plenty of plinking ammo.

question for those with experience, what ammo has worked best for you?

got a takedown 22 in jail. Can’t wait for that phone call!
