New here from IL

Hello all new here from IL, looking forward to learning the ins and outs of long range shooting. Ive hunted and shot for quite some time but never jumped into the long range shooting. Most of what i have done is 1-200yds. Just picked up a Rem 700 in 7mm rem mag and am in the process of looking for a scope and getting it set up to me.

Well Welcome, from SC. You’ll actually find information up the proverbial wazoo here especially on scopes, so many, budgets, purposes, I’m sure you’ll find your way. Jump on get wet and read too...lol, a lot. ?

thanks all! Found a nice piece of glass from a member on here and got it in the mail yesterday. just waiting on a 20 moa base and rings to get here.
