New Kestrel with Horus Atrag Ballistic software

Has anyone here used one of these yet?

I just gave my review to Kestrel this afternoon.
I like it, found out a couple of things... IE they have already updated the software and they said I would need to send mine in at some point.

Well what do you think of it? Is it a product that you would recommend to your fellow hide members?

I would recommend i -if you are planning on having a wind meter and a ballistics unit. I have only used it under 500 yards, it works. It is seemless. There is alot of info on a little screen - my eyes are not what they are used to be. I did mention to Kestrel it would be hany to change the font size - and give up some data as long as you could scroll to it on the display. There is the option of user defined screens - I have not set any up yet.

Does this unit have the 2x or mx software? Also if its mx is it in yards or meters or both?

It has both meters or yards.

The Kestrel has all of the "features" listed for the MX version of Atrag.

There was a laptop/pc version of the Gun Library software in the download section of the Kestrel website. I don't have the BT version and have no plans to pick up the optical cable so I didn't download the app. The website did state that the Gun Library download was only supported by Horus not Kestrel.
