New Krieger 300 win mag, what to tell Krieger about the chamber?

I am having a 300 Win mag built on an SPS. The new rifle will go to Krieger for barreling. At this point, I am not loading my own yet. My intention is for this to be a long range rifle, say 700 to 1200 yards. Given that I will be using factory match ammo for the time being, what load and what chambering instructions should I tell Krieger? Sammi specs, or?

I'd tell them:

you want a chamber that isn't going to require any special case prep... no neck turning, no super duper tight headspace, no super "tight" chambers
If you plan on using the rifle as a repeater, and if so, what the longest COAL your magazines will accomodate - and that you'd like a little room to "chase the lands" in the future
That you plan to use bullets between 190gr and 210gr (this is MY assumption, edit as necessary)

Great reply, thanks. Very helpful.

My limited rifle experience has all been with .308. For my M1A, and my AR10 the ammo choices have been easy. Once I got the results I wanted from FGM/SMK 168s or 175s, I stopped looking. Is there a similar 'go-to' load for 300 WM?

I'm not a 300WM guy, but I think federal offers GMM 190gr, with the 190smk.

While far superior to a 308 loaded with 168s and 175s, it's a far cry from what the mighty 300 can do with custom ammo. I think 208gr is about where most 300 shooters get started, and the cartridge has plenty of horsepower to drive them.
