So I got one to mainly deprime rifle brass with a universal deprimer, and to size/deprime pistol so I can store it ready to load.
I figured I'd give it a shot with 308 and my old Lee FL die. I didnt want to stick a case in my forster die if the shellplate lacked enough bite. It works sorta ok. It lacks leverage of a standard press. It felt substantially more difficult to get the brass in and out. Not a setup ideal for actually sizing precision stuff, but for something like bulk 223 or whatever, probably sufficient.
For pistol it's completely adequate. I like it for that job and for keeping spent primers and dirt away from my progressive.
308 sizing/depriming:
45acp
