Wow just got to fondle a new Leupold 8.5-25x50mm FFP scope..It had zero stop and a 34mm tube and a Horus reticle and was mil/mil..All i can say for now..

Not a tease, my smith just got it yesterday from leupold to evaluate and test. I went in today and he had it bolted on a 300 winnie..The scope was nice and i really like the zero stop as it is a push button for the elevation and wen released you cant move or bump it till you push the button again..
He never said anything about price..

I am very curious about this. If they make it less than $1500, I would likely buy one.
But I am that rare bird that has had nothing but great luck with Leupolds and I believe they are the best buy for $1K~.
