Rifle Scopes New Leupold Mark 4...

I'm pretty new to the forum, and am still waiting on my Remington 700 to arrive. I got a pleasant surprise from the UPS man today... my Leupold Mark 4 4.4-14x40 LRT Target. Sweet! This was a special order and arrived about a week ahead of schedule. Nothing new to report at this time, just excited to get out and start learning to shoot some distance.

I spent about 3 months up in the Smithville area last spring it is some beautiful country. I loved that lake too.

I dont know if you know it yet but you are about 30 minutes from some of the most well regarded companies on this forum; Badger Ordnance, GA Precision, and Manners.

Make sure you get some pics of that rifle posted when you get it together.

Unless they've moved, I'm pretty sure McMillan is here in AZ. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

McMillan is in AZ. Maybe he's thinking of Bell & Carlson...? They're a few hours away from me in Dodge City. Midway USA is pretty close too, just a couple hours.

I am talking less than 30 minutes. All three of these shops are on the same street less than 20 miles south of the Airport. Depending on what you are calling Smithville (actual Smithville or maybe the north or east side of the lake) you should be able to get there in 30 minutes.

I know next time I am back in the area I am going to get down their way and bug them all.

InTheHills is in Smithville. I'm W of KC in Lawrence. I know roughly where they are, although I haven't made it up there yet.

"Just a couple hours" was referring to Midway USA, who's in Columbia, MO.

No problem guys, we all get mixed up now and then. At least I know I do!

GAP, been their. Close to home. Great service, people, etc.

It sure is nice to be able to drop in to the shop, on the way home from work sometimes.
