Finally got it painted and scope mounted. It's a 300 Win built by Don Geraci. I painted the barrel, action, and stock. I mixed two kinds of greens on the stock trying to get a little lighter shade of od green and it turned out a little lighter than I hoped. Here are the particulars.

Rem action
26" Krieger with Schrewd brake
Fluting done by Kampfeld Customs on barrel and bolt
Manners T5
Badger Lug and bolt handle
Vortex 6-24 pst mil/mil
Aadland triple lug rings
Seekins Rail
Tuned Old style rem trigger

I could see how traditional straight fluting could in effect stiffen a barrel some, but I wonder what kind of effects that sort of heavy spiraled fluting would have compared to straight traditional fluting. I'm sure it effects the vibrations to some degree, as that looks to have removed quite a bit of material.

All that aside, WOW, beautiful rifle. Absolutely gorgeous. Pretty as any set of long legs hehehehehe
