Just got my new folding McRee Precision chassis in today. DAMN this thing is nice! the machine work is AMAZING!

Not sure right now. Gun was originaly in a Lone Wolf Summit stock (ULTRAlight) for hunting and this chassis has added a lot to it, but also it is still a relativly light gun due to the barrel.

Damn it! That's the one I wanted, I went with Bell/Carlson A5 instead.

I have the BC a5 as well. Completly different feel. The A5 is nice as well, i have one on my 22-250IMP. I must say i like the fit and finish of the McRee substantially more, but you are also in a different price range.

Nice looking rifle. With it being so light what is the recoil like?

recoil is definately more than a standard steel bbl, but still manageable

What caliber is your rifle? I would suggest a cheek pad! I had a McRee on my 408CT for awhile. It busted me up one day, but I also shout about 180 rounds over 2 days of camping and LR shooting.
