I’m currently in Palmdale and work/ live during the week in OJai but I’m about to move to Bakersfield in about a month.

Bakersfield is an interesting place. If you don’t know, the are is 2A friendly so if you want/ need a CCW it can be achieved.

Yes, Kern county is a good 2A place to be for the most part. Donny Youngblood, the Kern County sheriff believes in the RKBA.

Welcome from another commifornian. So far I like my Howa in 6.5 Creed. Really good starter for those who are recoil sensitive. Its a kitten in that aspect. Reaches out to 1000 yards easy. Also a very forgiving round for those of us learning PRS in terms of accuracy. As it’s adoption increases itll become a cheaper round also.
