Hello - I actually joined several years ago when the Hide was still part of Scout when I purchased something from a member but have recently been spending more time reading on the sight and wanted to start joining in some conversations so I thought that I would introduce myself here.
I live a little north of Phoenix, not far from Ben Avery. I do not have much experience shooting beyond 100 yards but would like to learn, find quality knowledge here and gain some experience. I am also hopeful that I meet some great people of which the hide seems to have no shortage.

Welcome from Chandler! A few tips:

1) Use the search feature, both here on the Hide and Google in general. There's a wealth of information here, and most questions have been asked, but not all. Learn what you can, and then feel free to start threads seeking additional knowledge or clarification on topics that may not have been cleared up in your research. You'll avoid a lot of drama by doing the above!

2) Do NOT, under any circumstances, as which is better between MIL and MOA!!! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Refer to step one above!

3) Don't have a thin skin. We can be a rowdy bunch, as you may well be aware. It's rarely personal. If it is, don't feed the trolls.

Aside from that, have a ball! The AZLRPRS monthly matches are a blast. They're now holding gas gun matches at CowTown apparently (I plan to try one out once my build is complete), and NRL22 matches are held at various ranges. Lots of options, and you're close to some of the best!

Hello from Scottsdale ?

I try to go to Ben Avery once a month, typically shoot on the main range. They are in the process of building a cover for the 300 yard range (DPS range) so you’re not in the sun while shooting steel and paper targets.

Welcome from Peoria. I second the local prs matches at cowtown. Great group of folks and you will learn more there in one day of shooting then spending weeks reading in the hide. No substitute for just getting out and doing it. Lots of friendly folks that will share tips, gear, and knowledge
