After lurking for a long time and using this site as reference to get other peoples experiences on shooting gear I thought it was to join. I'm going to be in the market for my first decent quality scope for hunting, but I'll post a separate thread in the appropriate area sometime in the future for that discussion. I look forward to starting down that road in the near future.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm in Western NC. I'll be using it for whitetail deer mostly and hopefully coyote in the future. My terrain can be thick brush out to 400 yards. But in all reality most of my shots will probably be between 100 and 200 yards.
