Long time lurker of this exceptional forum and felt it was time to become a full member or more. Retired Salty Ass Marine and grandfather to 2 wonderful grandchildren are my exceptional qualities...;). I have been involved in hunting and shooting on a competitive level more than 40 years, as well as an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Took a few years (okay maybe a decade) off and thought I had lost interest... A couple very close friends that are new to the sport helped ignite the fire that never goes out....Shooting! So yet again "permission to come aboard Sir?"

Welcome to the Hide from Middle Georgia. The fire never really goes out, and you're in a great state to reignite the passion. With all the ferals (hogs that is) to hunt and control, you could be a big help as well as fill the freezer. And you're just the right man to bring the grandkids along properly in time. Glad to have a salty-ass Marine, even if you are "A Card"...

We kill a ton of pigs on our property and the surrounding properties, they are a scourge and will really fuck up a crop field or landing strip! Sadly even running thermals and shooting all night we will never make a dent in the populations... we have even tried using helicopters and our Benelli's which is crazy fun but damned expensive!
