New member looking for. 223 load

Hi everyone! Im pretty new to the hide although Ive been a long time lurker. My buddy picked up some 40 gn vmax and some H322, but ive never loaded for this. He wants to use it for hunting ammo for his Ar. I was just curious if anyone has a favorite load they like with this combo. Any ideas?

Check in the sticky's in this section. There are a lot of loads for the 223/5.56. Maybe you'll find something there.

Yea I looked for a while and didnt see anything that really fit the bill

Hodgdon lists 23.5 to 25.5(max) for 40gr bullets.
