Ive traditionally been a gas gunner but at the last Fall Classic match down here at Texas Precision Matches I took top gas gunner and for my effort won a freaking awesome MPA comp BA via Xtreme Guns & ammo so I guess Im coming over from the dark side and into the light of bolt guns!

I have decided that I want an ARC Nucleus so Im committed to it, just need to save up a bit more hobby funds. The brownells 11% was mighty enticing but I found more substantial deals on other black friday stuff so thats where my energies went to but soon enough Ill be able to torque it all together.

I snagged a Trigger Tech Diamond with their limited 40% off coupon.
Got a couple MDT mags for 40% off as well.
I hopped in on the PVA sale with a nuc prefit 26" m24 6 creed.
Thanks to some fortunate connections I have a scored a new Bushnell XRS2 and an MPA mount for an absolute steal at almost half off.
Plus I won an area 419 hellfire as well.

That should all be arriving shortly but I cant assemble anything until I get that action in... but I was just too excited to not start sharing my progress into the nice bolt action world.

I love my Nucleus and 419 brake.
Ive never felt one, just studied up on them but the reviews all say they are smooth as glass so Im excited. I wonder if thats due more to the surface finish or if the three anti bind rails and geometry have a larger influence?

Im sure both contribute equally and and the results from each are impossible to distinguish between and contibute credit but hey, this is the internet.

They are pretty slick.

You're headed in the right direction! MPA makes some of the best Chasis systems out there and ARC is without a doubt in a league of there own. Add a Bartlein barrel to the mix with a 419 or APA brake and you're in business.
