Hey there guys happy to join the group and pick your brains, have a blank chassis staring at me trying to decide whether to just buy a stock 700 drop it in and get going or go all out with a custom action from the drop.

It all depends on what you want to do. If just plinking yes by all mean that’s a very good choice. But if you are going to shoot matches that a different question. Then you have a budget to also look at. It’s all up to you don’t let other people make up your mind or spend your money.

Ended up getting a new Remington 700 in 6.5 creed so I can hopefully appreciate the build process. The gun will outshoot me did a while as I am new to them so I think making improvements over time and appreciating each change will be more enjoyable.
