While I have been a member of a couple of other forums for many years I just recently found this one. I have been a gunsmith and custom gun bulder for more than 20 years. I entered the gunsmithing world building competition 1911's under master gunsmith George Forrest. He was a great man and died forgetting more than I will probably ever know. I also have many years experience building custom rifles. The common thing I have found is people buy guns, pistols or rifles, and the first thing they do is drop a pile of money on it adding different features. Because of this my partner and I decided to build a rifle that had most, if not all of the features already at an affordable price. This is how I discovered Snipershide forum, the knowledge on these pages is awesome, I thought I knew a lot but after reading some of the posts I discovered there is a lot of good information here. It is nice to be here and I hope that I can offer some valuable information to others as well as my own learning experience.
