It was made for Norma ammo, but not in Sweden. This brass was produced in Hungary when Norma was owned by RUAG. It's still a really great value for new primed brass, but our other 223/5.56 has tighter tolerances. Here is the product description I wrote for it to include case weights:

This is brand new PRIMED 5.56x45mm brass.

The headstamp is -NORMA-, but this lot of brass was contracted out for a line of 5.56 Ammo made by MFS Defense in Sirok, Hungary when RUAG owned Norma.

The important takeaway is that the tollerances and finish are not quite as good as the other norma primed brass that we have in stock. This is why it's less expensive than the other option. This brass is great for bulk loading, and still probably one of the best values on the market for loading 223 Rem / 5.56.

Case weights (weighed with primers):

Standard Deviation, σ: 0.60466505993876

Count, N:22
Sum, Σx:2258.8
Mean, μ:102.67272727273
Variance, σ2: 0.36561983471074

Getting lower in stock. Updated the inventory. Approximately 40k left (which is roughly 30 orders worth based on how folks have been buying) so not as much as you'd think. Get it while you can.

Not affiliated with RRP.

I have purchased 3k and sampled all the bags. All randomly pulled cases passed gauging, necks and case mouths are in excellent condition and all the brass weighed within a 2 gr distribution. The only reason there's a 2 gr distribution is that there seem to be "flyers" in weight. 18 will be within a grain and then 2 will be 2 grains above the lowest weight.

Should be great for bulk loading.

Shipping was fast.
