You still have to adjust the hex head screw holding the key lock, if not you are either going to drag paint off the ID of the rail or it will be to loose when you lock it down. Mine have been sent back, and I have been talking to Rainier and Fortis about it, if I could go back I would have probably went with a different rail. Diamondhead VRS-T 308 13" or MI 15"
