Gunsmithing New Rem. 700 vtr .204 scratching up cases feeding

Is this a common problem with this model when new? Or is there some sharp areas that need polishing in the receiver? Since I plan to reload for this gun that's not something I like to see on my casings. Any tips to safely, polish or lap etc. the receiver to cure this problem would be greatly, appreciated Thanks.

I polish the edges of the feed rails with 400 wet/dry sandpaper. Generally takes care of it.
