Its subtle but I love the look of that bolt.

Yeah about the bolt... I wanted parkerizing on the bolt body. That's what my Beanland has and it's suuuuuuuper smooth. SAC doesn't do parkerizing though and I didn't want Melonite. So they used that new Cerakote that's thinner and the color options are limited. So that grey color is all they have available. I think it looks good, though!

Me too lol. I still need a scope. Trying to decide between a few. Narrowed it down to Nightforce ATACR F1, Minox, or Tangent Theta. My other rifle has a TT already and I really like it. But the other two would be nice to check out. I'm heading to CS Tactical later this week to see what they have.

I'll vote for the ATACR 7-35. Looked thru one the other day and was very impressed, especially with the clarity of the top end and the close focus..

That one isn't on my list, unfortunately. The only reticle from Nightforce I'll even consider is the Mil-C. And it's not available in the 7-35. Of all of them, the Minox's MR4 reticle is probably the best to me. I currently make due with the Gen2 XR in my TT. And it's fine. If the Minox is as good as my TT in the glass and turret department, I'll probably go with that as it's a bit shorter and a bit lighter and has a better reticle. But my TT is just so freakin' gorgeous to look through that I'm willing to spend the extra $ on it if the Minox isn't on par.

Man, I LOVE NRD! And, I always wanted an A-5 in that very color/pattern. I've got two Deviants, so I KNOW how much you'll like that. Overall, it sure looks like a real winner. Congrats!

My SAC 6.5CM is a laser. First 4 shots 1 hole with Prime.

I think it was 50% olive, 30% black, and 20% tan.

Because I always need two of everything lol.

This one was supposed to be lighter. I was originally going to go with a chassis build on something like the MPA BA Lite or the KMW Sentinel. But 1) the A5 is actually lighter than the MPA. And 2) I've been waiting like a year for a Sentinel stock and no word. I got tired of waiting and just said screw it and went with another A5. The barrel on this one is a bit lighter than my other rifle (M24). So there's that. I guess I just wanted another one for the hell of it. Also, when I burn a barrel out, and it's back at my smith, I'll have another rifle to use. It can take months and months to get a new barrel these days.

Don't need another caliber. The 6.5CM is great for what I do.

I read you were still optics shopping.. if you're looking to cut some weight, the AMG would be a good option. Reticle is excellent and turrets are very good. Not TT precise, but very solid. No experience with the Minox, so can't comment.
