Well, I finally got the new rig to the range today... I am brand new to this level of rim fire but not new to rifles. I would like to throw out some of my impressions and get your thoughts on them. I appreciate the input
- Rifle ran well but I was a bit surprised at how hard the bolt close is. Closes ok but takes more force to do so than I anticipated. Maybe twice the force of my Tikka T3 or Sako trg
- Rifle sighted in pretty easy... On paper in a couple rounds and reasonably zero’ed at 50yds after 6-8.
- very little wind
- I took and tried 3 different brands to see what it liked the best
- Honestly, I am not a great shot but would be disappointed with the below groups on one of my other higher end rifles.
- I didn’t bother showing the group sot with Federal Target... it was twice the size of the attached.
