new savage 11vt FF stock question

Hello, so I was able to purchase a savage 11 vt nib, not from dick's but through a friend and during an inspection I noticed the stock seems to be canted to the left(my right in the picture) more than the left.(it is not perfectly centered.) It is free floated although as I shoot a right handed rifle as a lefty this might cause the stock to touch the barrel.
I am anal about this and was wondering if this is normal for a cheapo stock?
Also is there any way to center it without ripping the whole thing off?

Yes it is normal.
Yes it can be fixed with a bit of know-how or some money.
If you hate it - replace the stock, just heads up if you want perfect fit you will spend more on the stock than you just did on the rifle.
