You are asking way too much for a $150-200 scope. Either save some more money to get in the $350-400 range and get a Falcon Menace 4-14x44 FFP or get a Bushnell 10x40 fixed power. Most any other scope under $200 that is a variable will not be worth spending that $200 on.

Yes, Vortex are quality scopes for the money. Talk to Scott @ LibertyOptics and he can probably set you up with a good deal on one.
However the Falcon will offer you turrets in 0.1 MRad increments, to match your Mil-Dot reticle, whereas the current crop of Vortex scopes all have MOA turrets. Supposedly a Mil version is coming, but I expect it to be WAYYYY over your budget as described.

Osprey scopes are not a bad choice either for a tight budget.
