New shooter from Oz

Hi guys,

I've known about this forum for a while and finally admitted that I was a total newb when it came to scoped rifles so I came here to learn.

My rifle is a Tikka T3 Tactical 24" .308WIN with a KRG Whiskey 3 chassis.

I have no idea about what kind of scope I need or scope mounts so I haven't got anything for it yet. I'm currently looking at Nightforce scopes and mounts.

I will be shooting between 100 and 800 meters (roughly 110 and 875 yards) and was wondering if I needed any particular scope mounts, scope and reticle to shoot with this large difference in range.

I do have a 91/30 hex receiver Nagant with iron sights which I use for hunting and a few handguns for 100 meter metallic silhouette.
