Howdy from San Antonio, Tx! Thanks for allowing me to learn and converse with y'all. I'm VERY new to sniping / long range shooting. I'm a 24yr military veteran and currently police officer who's going to attend sniper school in the end of September. Nothing was really put out in regards to equipment needed and things you should learn prior to the course except a rifle, scope, range finder, and spotter scope. I don't know what's good at a reasonable price. Can anybody give me some ideas on what to buy and study? Thus far all I have is a Remington 700 (7.62x51) without a scope. Any help would be greatly appreciated
