Hi, i'm a fireman, who likes to shoot, i've done mostly pistol, i'm now venturing into the long range game, and have an m14, and an ar15, I'll admit, i'm a bit overwelmed by all the info out there, and was wondering if there was any given book that all the professionals read at the begining of thier careers, thank you for your time.

Re: New shooter

Also check out Applied Ballistics for Long Range Shhoting by Bryan Litz. He addresses a lot of the harder to understand concepts in a very easy to underfstand terminology.

Its an easy read and it comes with free ballistic software as well as Bryan's personal researchon G7 ballistic coefficients.

Good luck and welcome to the Hide!
