Rifle Scopes New Simrad cap?

With PH being an accepted USMC optic, does the PH need a new cap or will the S&B model work. This is not meant as a CLONE WAR thread, but I am trying to get my M40A3 approved for duty use. We already have Simrads but they are on 30MM leupolds. I'm gonna try a PH first before an S&B, I like the features better for now. Jeff

Jeff,

The same ring and cap setup from the S&B should work with your Premier. You may have to look at getting a new rubber objective adapter from SPA SimRad for the slightly different O.D. of the PR.

If you are using a male mounting cap not sold by SPA SimRad, for gods sake don't let them know when you call about the objective cover. They will not honor the warranty of the unit unless it is mounted on their dovetails that are overpriced by 300%.
