New Sniper Chest rig

I have had numerous requests to show some pictures of these chest rigs. First they were designed to be modular and have PALS webbing on the front. There is a large pocket on the inside that is designed to carry a data book and some extra gear. On the back of the chest rig is a pull out panel with a data card window on one side and a pocket for a mil dot master on the other. Each chest rig comes with the data card/mil dot master pull out panel.

As you can see from the pictures the chest rig is designed as a purpose built sniper rig. Its comfortable to shoot from since it does not cover the stomach so when shooting prone you are not laying on the rig. Because when shooting prone you lay on your stomach not your chest.

On my rig I keep AICS magazines but for those without AICS mags we make pouch for non magazine shooters that holds 20 rounds. These pouches are also stackable and the vest will take any pouch that is MOLLE capable.

Everything you need, nothing you dont.

Looks great!
It seems like it would be very functional.
What does something like this run with the spot for some AICS mags?
Also, your in utah right?
You look like a guy that was associated with DTS out of salt lake.
Even your name sounds familiar.

Yes I am in Utah. I was with Desert Tactical at two shot shows and a few other shows. I have been a cop for the last 20 years and now I own a custom sewing shop.

As to being an impressive marksman I guess that depends on the day. Thanks for the kind words.

The jacket is a TAD Gear ranger hoodie.

The chest rig standard colors are coyote and multicam. I will also make them in woodland and black upon request.

TAD jacket is top shelf, love mine, the only hit is the soft fabric makes zipper pulls hard with one hand and the short soft zipper pulls need to be longer or add snap on plastic ends.

Mr Roy, do you ship USPS flat rate to Alaska? Nice piece of kit!

I dont have any od webbing or fabric in stock. It got hard to find there for a while. If I can get the dimensions that I need I will order some.

Not being rude but most shippers (UPS is the worst) charge extortion rates to Alaska like we are a foreign country. US Postal flat rate is the same no matter what state...around $10 Vs $50 for UPS. That is why I ask.

Shipping has turned into a major cost for everyone. Several of our customers are choosing to have us make their gear here in the USA because shipping to China is so expensive. That is good for America in a way but bad for people trying to send stuff around the world.

I ship USPS flat rate when possible because of the free boxes and great service. I am not a fan of UPS shipping.

I like it. Can you fit more mag pouches on the front? It looks like you can. And the mag pouches are for 10-round AICS mags I assume?

The mag pouches are 10 rounders and you can put as many pouches on the chest rig you like.

Mr Roy, still on the fence...

What is your PALS attachment? Looks like sewn strap to the top, threaded and a hard sewn tail flap to hold it together.

To confirm, the MDM w/ dope card slot pull out panel comes with the rig for $85?

Guess on turn around time on chest rig with 10 round mag pouch; multicam?

Can you rig that to fit a Glock 21. I like they way it rides up high on the chest so that when your crawling it should stay out of the way...I would think so.

Looks good...I have a similar rig I keep in my truck along with my rifle for quick deployment if needed. Never really gave it a thought of using it for sniper applications. I could see where it would be a nice thing to have though!
