I have been reading the forums and checking out the YouTube videos for last few months and have decided to finally register and start looking at getting a build started. There is a lot of great info, almost too much for me right now. I do not have much experience with long range, just the usual optics for M4 rifles, since I am a LEO. I have been trying to decide to throw together a custom built rifle, nothing crazy expensive, or an off the shelf, such as the John Hancock from Patriot Valley Arms. I have been leaning towards the KRG Whiskey 3 or Magpul chassis, really any for that matter right now. The Alamo Precision Gen 2, ARC Nucleus, or any other action around $1000 has caught my eye lately. That is where I have started, and I look forward to all the useful information and tricks of the trade. Thank you.
