Ok so i decided to incinerate the piece of crap known as the Varmint stock on the R700 SPS-V. Picked up the AICS 1.5 from a guy here on the hide and my god, im in love. To you guys it may be nothing special, but im proud of it like it was my child, if i had kids. I received the stock, torqued it down, and was so eager to get to the range, but it was so ridiculously hot. Anyways here she is! Now time to get a reloading kit and start really shooting.

We shot near dark, because it was so damned hot. Both 5 round groups, both 1 shot pulled, i have to work on that. I get excited by round 4 and always tend to pull the final shot to go look at the target.

The ergonomic improvement is not even measurable. The functionality is Great as well.

I've always wanted to buy an AICS, but never got to fondle one. I went with the McM A4 and love it also. Still want to fondle one, but would never trade my A4 for it. I just did some smithing work on it with a friend and turned out awesome. Glad to see you like the stock. I hear it's a love hate thing with AICS some love them and some hate them.

I too didn't like them at first, but after being stuck with one, I now love them. So much so that I have two rifles built on the 2.0s, and am planning a third build on another in .260 . They are not for everyone, but for those who like them, they are great.
