SMALLBORE SNIPER does really good with what he has on his, you can check out his posts on the .17 i put this together a while back, perhaps it'll help you oout some: 22 scope+ mounts+rings threads

Most go with a 3x9 and Bushnell makes a good mid-range tube. Personally I would not go with turrets, I like the idea of keeping my 22 simple. Tomcat
