Hello all. Long time lurker here and active member over at 6.8 forums. Some of you will recognize the avatar and hardware. For the rest of you guys, I figured I would start with a basic introduction and show you guys a pic of my last 6.8 build. My name's Matt, I own a small home repair business out in peanut country Virginia. I live with my fiancee Anita who is a former marine, my shiba inu Honoo and my cat Tiberius. Here we are.

I am 29 years old and have been shooting since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I have access to about 400 yards of barren field in the winter to shoot on in my backyard, right now it's full of soybeans. During the summer I usually shoot at C2 in Virginia Beach, or run short range pistol drills in the back yard. I am somewhat of a outspoken person when it comes to politics and religion, but i'll leave that at the door and get to talkin about guns. This is my latest 6.8 build.

Specs are,16 inch AR Performance Scout Barrel
AR Performance super bolt
AR Performance 5X4 Comp
Mil-Spec M16 Bolt carrier
Spikes forged upper and lower
Spikes Buffer
Magpul ACS stock, Miad grip and trigger guard.
Troy endplate sling adapter, Troy vertical grip
Midwest industries SS gen 1 hand guard with bi-pod adapter
Harris SRBM bipod
Geissele SSA Trigger
AADLAND 20 MOA Scope mount
SWFA 10X42M Scope

I think that covers the rifle. The rifle shoots great, right around one MOA with no rear rest. I'm hoping to buy a rear bag before my next range trip to further test the accuracy of the barrel. A few years ago I also started collecting reloading components. Here is my gun room

Ive since added a cabinet in the far left corner for which I'm going to use for a pistol reloading station. I still have tons of things on my reloading want list but then again, who doesn't. Right now I've been playing with H322 and 115 nosler CCs, but just picked up 8# of Alliant 1200 and 400 140 grain berger VLDs. The ARP chamber is supposed to be monster when it comes to handling hot loads so we will see how far out we can push those 140's.

So that's it, my introduction to the Hide. It's been a long time coming, I think I've been reading posts for about three years know. I've learned a lot and would like to start contributing back to the board!

Welcome and a nice looking rifle you have there. Hang out here very long and you'll be upgrading all of it while you hear a vacuum sound coming from your wallet!

Thanks. It's a work in progress. The people who owned the house before us took out a few walls out in the dining room and converted it into a kitchen, they then left the old kitchen so there ya go. Gun room!
