New too high caliber - Weatherby question

I just picked up a Weatherby Vanguard for my first actual high caliber rifle for hunting bigger game but I'm also just using it for some fun long range shooting.

I would like to build it up a bit over time but right now its got a decent but cheap scope that will work for a while. My first question is stocks. I find very many stocks for the Remington 700 series but stocks for my 7 mag seem to be hard to find, would a stock labeled for a Remington 700 work on my Vanguard 7mm?

Thanks!

No.

Try Bell and Carlson stocks, they are a good value. McMillan makes some too, just depends what your budget is.

Excellent, thank you that was a very quick response, was looking at bell and carlson not finding much, till I read this and find one some immediately.... Next question, how many rounds typically is the break in period of these rifles? After about 30 rounds seemed to be jumping around a bit but I did not really take the time to sight it in good.
