New Torch PRO Extreme Distance IR Illuminator

I need IR to go with my D740. All of my friends swear by the Streamlight Supertac, it does seem to be good for what it costs. I would imagine this torch smokes it. It looks a lot tougher and I'm sure there's no comparison with glass/lens and I know the streamlight doesn't have an adjustable beam angle. If anyone has used both can you explain the difference in performance?
Get'em while you can, I waited 6 months for mine!
Great light, well made, very bright in spot constriction, not inexpensive but does what none inexpensive can.
Does throw a red glow, not suitable for a 2-way range.
