I saw that earlier, I'm sure a lot of this happened after Vietnam but we didn't have 24/7 news back then.

Nowdays , just plain stupid.

Could be, I find it surprising how far he got... actually assigned to a unit, drilled with them, supervised soldiers and now attending advanced trainng. Wow...
