I called to order a USO catalogue a few weeks ago & they said new ones were being printed up. I haven't received it yet. They told me they were working on the new website as well. Anyone in the know have any info when the new website will be ready?

Umm, you can;t get more in the know than the folks you called.
If you are in the market for a scope, call them and I guarantee they can hook you up with the latest and greatest they have to offer, tailored to fit your application. Or get in touch with doc76251, he's USO East.

Well I'm not window shopping. They told me the website wasn't up to date & the new catalogue was. I just hate running out to the mailbox & being disapointed everyday. I guess I am a visual guy. I need to see it for it to sink in.

From my understanding the new features are more functional than aesthetic. I'm sure Jeff at USO or Doc could help you with what features would best suit your needs.

The new catalog is shipping with new scopes, saw it for the first time back in April. I've been hearing about the new site being in the works for about a year.

If the quality of these videos is a preview of what the rest of the website will be like then it should be pretty damn good.

What do you know, I do have one! I'll trade it for a #16 BC Eye flipup and a SASE manila envelope........

Their old catalogs were more of a reference guide for anything optical. I hope they continue that with the new ones...I kick myself for chucking mine when I left for VA in 02.

Their new catalog doesn't have as much of the general optical reference goodies.
Hopefully the good info linked on their old site will make it through the makeover........

As a newbie to tactical scopes, I keep hearing about this mythical USO creature called the "catalog" but cant seem to get one either. I also like to drool on actual pictures, and when I buy a USO, I want to make sure I get the best options available to fit my preferences...hmmm
