Well my FFL just got the my new XCR Compact Tactical in & I went down to fill all the paper work out & I was disappointed to see that it came with the X-Mark trigger & not the 40x trigger I've read so much about. This was a major bummer. So heads up to those of you looking at this rifle, as it appears to be shipped with the X-Mark trigger now. I hope this thing shoots as good as some of the reviews I've read, but now I'm second guessing the decision to spend the extra $$$, but I did want the stainless action so time will tell. Have to await the 10 day Commiefornia cool down now. Other than the trigger disappointment, it does look to be a very nice rifle.

sell the X-mark trigger for $40, order you a Timney 510 pre-set from Timney at 2lbs, and enjoy your new rifle.
I might just try that, Thanks. I really do not like the X-mark adjustment screw placement on the trigger, but i guess I should give it a chance before I completely condem it. I was just expecting the 40x. Thanks again
+1 for Bandit's advice. Congrat's on your new rifle, and I'm sure you will enjoy it for many years to come. 
That was my thinking as well. I was expecting the 40x & when I saw the X-Mark Pro I was thinking to myself, What the heck happened here? I'm sure it will be a nice rifle, but was let down a little when I saw that, feeling like I was a sucker for paying more than I should have & not getting what I expected.
