Confirm whether the turrets are plastic???

Scope made in Japan?

army_eod, Just received my Zeiss V4 4-16x44, yesterday. To answer your questions, box says Japan, & bottom of scope says JAPAN. My scope has capped windage turret, & exposed target style turret. Cap on windage side is plastic, & feels a bit "cheap". Turrets however seem to be metallic, not looking or feeling like plastic....... All in all, seems to be a decent scope, it'll probably live on my older remmy 700, sporter ,hunting 30-06. Idaho-5R

3x12 v4 here. Turret caps are plastic and Japan on the bottom. Mine tracks perfect. Would recommend.
