Newbie From Scotland

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I live in Scotland and have had the privilege to have been the Deputy Chief Firearms Instructor and Lead Rifle Instructor in my past.
I was an operator too so not just showing people but practising it too.
I now just keep my skills for sporting use and teaching my 7&5 yr old daughters how to use weapons carefully. The 7yr old is quite a shot at 10m with an air rifle.
I still love learning about rifle shooting in particular so I will be reading the posts when I have time. Maybe I can impart some of my knowledge if I can remember!!

Would be interested to learn about the firearms laws there. Handguns available? Purchase in gun shops? Background checks? Concealed Carry? Any stats on crime there as well...? Just curious...
