hey guys new here and i need some help got a new 700 sps with the new trigger remmy is putting on them i cant seem to get the set screws broke loose just twisting the 1/16 allen wrenches can or would anyone be willing to help me it seems like they are loc tighted from the fac. thanks in advanced jim

if you mean with the set screw in the upper portion of the trigger no i have to take the barrel/acton out of the stock to adjust this is my yote gun 204 ruger

Well its a new trigger, I'm not familiar with it.
Ide say if its not meant to be adjusted, dont adjust it.
If you dont know how to adjust it, dont adjust it.
If its meant to be adjusted, and you know how to adjust it....
Try applying heat to the set-screw. Hold the tip of a soldering iron on it for a bit (20-30 seconds) then try to loosen it.

The old style had a sealer that acetone would loosen. Some triggers were staked at the screw and impossible to budge without distroying the head or the threads.

Are you talking about the x-mark? If so, take a pick and pick away the sealant that they use. After that, it should turn freely.

small torch, pencil torch ect and apply some heat with it and try it.
Are the threads messed up? Can you tighten it any and then try to back it up?

negative cant move it at all i was worried about heat on the trigger assy. but may be my only choice.

your not looking for alot of heat if its the actual thread locker/sealant thats holding the threads. If its a mechanical situation thats it holding...thats a different story
If you have a temperature gun you can keep an eye it with that while heating.
