Ok... So trying to see if these numbers make sense... Yes I believe the bullet. But trying to get a grasp on if this is a normal shift.

175 grain Prime, estimated mv 2575 worked mv backwards from previous shoots and the box bc(.5475 G1)

Ok, so 600 has consistently been 4.7 mill come up
725 has been 6.3

Previously was shooting about 10 am(ish) temp was 80-85ish. Yesterday temp was 100 easy

I missed just high at 600. Came down a tenth, hit it. Go to 725 Shoot... Nothing shoot nothing shoot nothing. Come down 2 clicks... Nothing... Confused... Shoot a digger... Holy wow... Come down another tenth, I'm at 6 mill even now. Drilling it...

3 tenths was WAY more shift than I expected... I guess it isn't THAT much... But like I said I was surprised for sure. Normalish? Like I said I'm a noob

0.3 shifts or even more, happen regularly. Changes in pressure can cause small shifts. Temperature will cause bigger shifts. Light and mirage can totally fuck your shot and leave you scratching your head.

This plus possible shooter offsets.

Your description of .1 and you turn a miss into a hit is suspect in itself. Very rarely would anyone correct .1th for a miss on steel at the ranges you are discussing.

At 300 yards .1 is about 1” - hope you can see the issue here

Any of the free phone apps pull DA?

BallisticsARC will pull METARs from the 5 nearest stations. If a station doesn't give data it's because 1) the report is greater than 2 hours old or 2) the station is temp/perm offline. Couldn't figure out a filter for those stations. There's a ton!

Oh, and we automatically calculate DA for you on those.
