Sup all? I have a savage precsion 10 .308 rifle and currently Im running a Nikon Monarch 4-16 BDC scope burris 1" rings on EGW 20MOA scope mount. The Nikon can only shoot to about 600yd till the target is out of the scope. This is using the BDC calculator online and not using any type of elevation adjustment. I would like to learn how to make my own adjustments with elevation/wind to align my crosshairs on target at distance instead of just aiming above the target with the BCD.
Should I stick with the BDC or go for a different scope to achieve my goal? What are your guys thoughts on the subject? If I were to go with a different scope, then I would be looking in the price range of $500-600.
THanks for the help.
