Has anyone ever used the newcon optik rangefinders? I'm looking at the LRM-1500SPD monocular. They seem too inexpensive compared to leica and swarovski??? Any thoughts?

I have that exact one. I have only used it to 600 yards but it worked great to that distance.
the box is alittle big for targeting but I haven't had any problems ranging off of anything reasonably solid (rocks / trees / berms)

I have the 1200 model and it works but I picked up the Bushnell 1200 because it was small enough to use in a tree stand for bow hunting. I'd sell you my 1200 for dirt cheap if you're interested.

I had the 4000 model and it would only range 2000 yards. The guy told me all kind of excuses. I sold that unit and bought the Terrapin PLR 05. This does everything that unit did not do. I would look at other range finders before this one. Do some digging on this product before you purchase it.
