No one makes a precision 22LR with a 60 Deg Bolt lift and a good synthetic type stock with adjustable cheek piece and LOP.

Bergara b14r Trainer
Has a 90 Deg Bolt Lift.
Has a Nice adjustable synthetic stock
This is a huge 4.2KG Full size trainer mimic rifle.
They need to sell a normal size 22LR with a 60 Deg Bolt lift, somewhere around 3.2KG would be sweet.

CZ 457
Has a 60 Deg Bolt throw.
Pretty much wooden stocks only. The terrible new Fake synthetic LRP beech wood adjustable stock is absolute vomit.

Lithgow LA101
Has a 60 Deg bolt lift.
Comes with a nice titanium cerakote on the barrelled action.
Just Needs an adjustable stock.

Vudoo V22
90 Deg Bolt lift
Everything else about the companies rifles and their customer service is superb.

Tikka
Has that wierd barrel shim pressing on the barrel....

I have emailed Lithgow, Bergara and CZ letting them know there is a 22LR market opportunity and how hasn’t anyone filled the demand yet for a true top tier 22LR?
I am ready with money for who ever hits the market.
Anyone else wanting this or know any news??

From a financial/business standpoint, this is similar when people want 6 dasher or 6x47 lapua brass.

Everyone is buying all the 6br and 6.5x47 brass they make already. The retooling and such doesn’t make sense.

People are buying all the rifles you listed and either don’t care about the 90 deg throw and putting them in aftermarket chassis.

Vudoo could make a 60deg and I would likely buy it. But you gain nothing over the current 90deg except some slight gain in user preference.

the answer you seek is the ultimatum deuce. they are delayed shipping but it is a barreled action in a 700 footprint with a 60 degree throw. you can pick the synthetic stock that you want

Barrels is going to be the issue with the duece.

If I were to get one, I’d be getting just an action and finding a good rimfire smith to barrel it. The guys at ultimatum are awesome. But Rimfire ain’t their wheelhouse as far as barrels and such.

Waiting for the perfect .22....

Meanwhile, here's the rest of us....

Shootin' .22's with 90-degree bolt throws, havin' a good time, just enjoying life, but hey I hope you find what you're looking for one day.

The tikka barrel "shim" removed with a screw. If that's your only reason for not liking it, it's a bad reason.

That's why they outsourced the barrels and testing to IBI.

For me, a 3-lug Vudoo repeater would be perfect.

I pretty much shoot nothing but 3-lug centerfires. So the rifle would feel much closer to what I shoot.

As in I shoot a lot more rimfire than centerfire. That would make my centerfire feel like my rimfire.

gonna de-rail this thread a little but do you think that is the delay with them besides kung flu? also do you think the DeFacto will have the same issues since that is also using an IBI?

Hard for me to vote. You're asking for a 60 degree bolt throw and what I consider a child's size gun. I want my Rimfire to be a full size rifle.

The aforementioned being said, if I had a choice between the full-size repeater with a 90-degree bolt Pro and one with a 60 degree bolt throw I would go with 60 degree. I'm not going to not buy one simply because there's the standard 90-degree throw.

What I'd like to see if you're looking for Speed is more companies making a toggle bolt (Izhmash biathlon, Anschutz Fortner) or krico 360s2 ( pistol grip lever action).

In your mind, what's the issue with the barrel? Is it the quality of barrel (IBI) and/or the type of chamber they are using?

I wish my centerfire and my rimfire were the same throws, that's about it. I shot my Vudoo and had zero complaints, but then I ran 4 days straight on my Terminus Zeus and when I came back to the Vudoo it took quite a bit of dry firing and cycling to get used to it again.

I am in the waiting for a Vudoo 3 lug repeater myself. I had the good fortune to have owned what is in my opinion the answer to this question, a Sauer 200TR with the 22lr conversion. The action was a butter smooth 3 lug mid lock in a full size stock with a trigger that is every bit as good or maybe slightly better than a pre 2013 TRG. The only problem with the Sauer (or SSG 3000) with the 22lr kit on is the lack of support here in the US, and they only have a 5 round single stack magazine. With that experience in addition to owning every other precision rimfire repeater ever made to date (except the Zermatt) I am holding out with the hopes of a 3 lug Vudoo. The main reason I am set on a Vudoo is how the company has treated me and my family which has been backed up time and time again by so many stories here on the Hide.

Yeh the Tikka, CZ, Anschutz with stock changes are an option... its just extra money especially when the Anschutz already hurts the wallet.
I think 22lr’s should not be as heavy as a 308...
Every rifle should have its differences and purposes.
I’d pay for stainless steel or factory cerakoting.
I wan’t 3 lug 60 deg fat bolts on all my rifles so there is plenty of room to mount 34mm Top tier FFP scopes.
Thanks for the replies guys.
With all the people pointing out how easy it is to swap rifle stocks with the occasional inletting mod For some of the models mentioned... Why cant the factory rifles just do it and charge $$$.
I love Bergaras stock with the internal chassis.

Because it’s far easier/cheaper/more profitable to sell $600 rifles and let the consumer spend the extra cash to upgrade, than it is to develop and keep an extra sku on hand for a small niche market.

Yeh The Sauer is not for sale in Australia, also not sure if that Sauer has a synthetic stock option.
The Sako Quad has feeding issues from what i saw in reviews, but it is very accurate.
Also The Sako Quad has a 22” barrel, I am more keen on the 18-20” side of things too.
I’d rather a Lithgow LA101 instead of the Sako Quad.

As for the Bravo stock with a CZ457, that is an option I’d be happy with.
I just wish the Bravo stock was a single mould. The contour of the 2 seperate stock pieces don’t line up flush. I am knocking the aesthetics haha.
But i am being fussy haha.

That is why i prefer the Bergara b14r stock.
It is a complete stock from rear to front, it has an internal chassis and its adjustable.

Anyway, when CZ released the LRP model, it got me thinking that they know there is a market for adjustable cheap piece synthetic stocks.
It is a shame that they used Beechwood and painted it with rubber to pretend it was synthetic.
Hopefully they release a real synthetic stock with adjustable cheek piece...I’m gonna Buy it!
