This base has had the original 6/48 screws opened up to fit 8/40 screws by a professional gunsmith.
Base was also bedded in the rear with steel epoxy bedding for proper fit on Rem 700 receiver.
Base is pretty much new, 3rd pic just shows oil in shiny spots.
